If you get regular prescriptions, the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) may be able to save you time by avoiding unnecessary trips to your GP.
We can now offer you the electronic prescribing service. This is where instead of a paper prescription an electronic version of your prescription is sent directly to your chemist.
If you wish your prescription to be sent electronically you will need to inform the receptionist at the time of ordering. The NHS keep a record of your nominated pharmacy, this can be changed by you at either a pharmacy or with one of our receptionists when you order your prescription.
Please be aware that if you use the electronic prescribing service that:
- Not all items can be sent electronically (controlled drugs, some special items and devices/bandages)
- If you have visited a different pharmacy they may change your nominated pharmacy record. Check your nominated pharmacy when you next order.
