Complaints

This Practice offers a complaints procedure in accordance with NHS guidelines. Please speak to our Practice Manager, or a Receptionist, who will provide you with further information. It is our aim to improve our services and resolve any problems promptly.

The complaints procedure should ensure all complaints are dealt with swiftly and fairly and hopefully to the satisfaction of all concerned.

Policy on Violent or Abusive Patients

The practice has the right to remove a violent patient to safeguard all those who might have reasonable fears for their safety. These include members of the practice, other patients and any other bystander present where the act of violence is committed or the behaviour took place. Violence includes actual or threatened physical violence or verbal abuse leading to a concern for a person’s safety. In this situation, we are obliged to notify the patient in writing of their removal from the list and record the facts of the removal and circumstances leading to it. The PCT is then responsible for providing further medical care for such patients.

Suggestions

There are suggestion slips on the reception desk. All comments are taken seriously and acted upon if appropriate.
