Elderly Health Checks
If you are aged over 75 years we offer an annual consultation with the District Nurse. This can be done at the surgery if you are well enough to attend or at your home.
Dr R K Dusad has been accredited to do minor surgery. A minor op clinic will be held on the first Friday of every month. We have cryo-cautery for removal of warts on the third Thursday of every month.
Review and monitoring is offered to those patients who suffer from Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The Clinic supports patients in the management of their conditions. Seen by appointment with the Practice Nurse.
Every third Tuesday of the month between 9:00am – 12:noon by Dr Usha Dusad and the Practice Nurse.
Review and monitoring is offered for those patients who suffer from Diabetes, both Insulin and Non-Insulin Dependant. The Clinic supports patients in the management of their condition together with advice on lifestyle, diet, weight and glucose testing.
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing or rest homes. Please contact the Reception staff during October for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, we can arrange a home visit.
